If you are an economics or medical student who needs citations and references for your project. Or a businessmen, lawyer or inventor, who wants to study patents.

Business owners and their lawyers can use it as a tool, to find existing patents related to their business.

Like other Google services, the search is very easy to use. It shows you results from data linked to the USPTO (United States Patent) office. You can use it to quickly find a patent.

However, it might not show you the latest entries that are made a few days ago. So you may use the official US patent office site.
