You know Google Maps? They are an interactive which can show you any part of the world exactly the way it is!

You can also see important icons like roads, hotels other important places. Here are a few situations in which you would like to use Google Maps for:
- Creating a travel plan

How does Google Maps work?
Google maps shows you images taken through airplanes. So the images that you see of your house might be taken a few years ago.
How often do they update the images?
There is no exact time, however i remember that my hometown came after 2 years.
Why are small places not clearly visible in Google Maps?
There are different resolution pics taken for different places. For small ones not so much in detail as there are a very few people who would be interested in it.
However, slowly and steadily Google Maps would cover whole Earth as they are continously updating their database.
Is there any way you can View Google Maps Offline?
No, there is not. You cannot download Google Maps. However, if you have Google Earth, you can view your previously viewed locations (which is saved in cache) without internet connection.
What is Wikimapia?
Wikimapia is a wikipedia of places on Earth! You can describe any place on Wikipedia there are thousands of users on the site who have described almost each corner of the world.
