  4. i wonder how long before this hits the news, there is defintely something going on.

  5. same here, for the last 30 mins, even from various different hosts (and in linux, etc)

  6. funniest thing is when you search for google on google it says it may be harmful…

also only seems to be happening on my pc in firefox…not in IE

  7. Same here… even results at the google domain are marked as potentially harmful!

  8. WHEW… I thought I was going crazy

  9. There was me thinking it was my machine…

  10. they fixed it

  11. Ah, skip that, I did say IE did it but Iw as mistaken, IE is OK but Opera, Safari and Firefox all fail as per all other posts. Have MS done an update recently that interacts differently with Google? Mummy, I’m scared!

  12. yeah at first i thought like my parents were blocking some websites but its all across the world wtf is going on

  13. Thanks, works for me again as well…

  14. Just tried a few more Google searches – the pestilence seems to have gone away

  15. Got the same thing, it seems if you go to the 2nd page of the results the warning goes away. Please, if anyone finds out what’s going on especially if it’s a local infection let us know…Paul

  16. OK, just tried it and it’s gone for me as well….Paul

  17. Mine is fine now.

I tried google.co.uk as well as .com, and both were hit about 10 mins ago.

  18. Works fine now. My bank is no longer “harmful”… well to my computer anyway…

  19. I experienced it just now. That gave me quite a fright.

Looks like everything’s back to normal on my end as well.

  20. Fixed now for me too, I’m guessing a script kiddie at Google put some code live that wasn’t quite tested yet. Well done to this site for posting so quick.

  21. As soon as I reset my router the problem went away. Somehow google must have blocked whatever was coming from my ip address. After reset, the ip address changes, and all is well!

  22. or is that just a coincidence, and google fixed their own problem?

  23. has google now completely crashed or is it just me?
