Now you can include your location automatically in your e-mail through Gmail location setting.


Using the new feature in Gmail, people would soon start telling their location along with their phone no’s and company website.

How to set this feature in your Gmail account?

  1. Log in to gmail account

  2. Click on settings on top right hand corner
  3. Choose the labs tab

  4. Find location to signature box and choose enable from the option box:


    Make sure, you have your signature set up, Once you enable this feature, it will automatically insert your location in your outgoing email messages.

How does Gmail does it?
The email service tracks down your location through your IP address, which is unique to every PC.

What is IP Address?
Every computer on the internet has a unique IP address. Some thing like – 198.365.32.3.
