Chartbeats is a new analytic and visitor statistics service launched by Betaworks owners of Bit.ly (URL shortening service).

You can use this service to track down your visitors and see what they are doing on your website.

It is much like Google Analytics the only difference being you can also see live traffic stats of your visitors.

On most of Analytics software and online stat services there is a delay of minimum 15 minutes to show who is visiting your website and what are they doing. ChartBeats on the other hand show you the info within seconds.

All the information is also stored in your account so you can see older reports and evaluate performance of your website.

It can be a great advantage for webmasters who are rolling out changes in their website or trying to identity user experience.

Especially for people who are doing expensive PPC advertising on Google Adwords, would like to see how the visitor is finding their landing page.
