How to get Diggbar!
- You do not need to download any software! (Yep! it is not any software that you need to download. It is a JavaScript add-on that will run from the browser)
- Just type in the URL that you want to Digg after digg.com.
For Example www.digg.com/techpogo.com
- It will automatically shorten the URL (Services similar like TinyURL, DwarfURL and Bit.ly)
You can Digg the web page by adding “digg.com” in front of any URL. This surely is a great idea as it is very easy to use and requires minimum effort (in comparison to previous ways of bookmarking on digg)
You can use it on any web browser and PC as you do not have to install any toolbar.
Webmasters don’t like it for SEO reasons
While it is extremely easy for the users to bookmark a website through this easy service. Most webmaster do not appreciate it because they might lose potential traffic and search engine rankings.
While there are other shorturl services successfully running there is almost no need of packaging Digg and ShortURL service into one.
Most of the users use Digg to bookmark URLs and this toolbar is certainly going to make their task easier…
