MTNL launches 3G in Mumbai with very expensive tariffs

Finally, Mumbai got 3G….. BUT Mumbaikars could not be much happy about it.

With the unlimited plan going upto 2,500/- few people might actually go for it.

Compare this with BSNL which is offering unlimited Data Plans for 550/- a month. MTNL is charging 5 times money!

Here are the plans

Rs 250/- —— 200 mb limit
Rs 450/- —— 500 mb limit
Rs 750/- —— 1 GB
Rs 2500/ —— Unlimited

Note: validity 30 days. Extra usage above limit costs whopping Rs 3 / Mb!

MTNL has been charging too much from it’s customers. Mumbaikars don’t have many options and they have to take MTNL services which is charging way above in compared to BSNL.

We can hope that MTNL revises its tariff and comes up with more affordable plans, that an average man can use.

Not to forget about the students and youngsters who would want to avail services like 3G for lesser price.
